Tragedy in Graz: School Shooting Leaves Austria in Deep Mourning

Austria is reeling from a horrifying act of violence after a shooter opened fire at a high school in Graz, resulting in nine fatalities. The victims include teenagers aged between 14 and 18, according to the country’s Interior Ministry.

More recently, in February, a 23-year-old man randomly stabbed five people in southern Austria. These episodes have heightened public concern about safety, mental health, and weapons accessibility.
